Since the mock campaign video of Paris Hilton was released on August, 5th the short has been viewed more than 6.2 million times in the first week, driving traffic numbers to the highest levels.

And then we learned that the most successful clip on the web was "The Landlord" by Will Ferrell:

The heiress' parody, which features Hilton sunbathing and discussing her candidates for vice president, was a response to an ad released by Sen. John McCain's camp, using Hilton's image to suggest Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama is nothing more than a lightweight celebrity.
