Bahamas

Here are some pictures where you can witness how Leonard spent the first two weeks of April on Harbour Island in the Bahamas:

Arrived at the beach! This is in front of the house we stayed in.

Exhausted...

This is my new godfather Christian.

Nude photography on the beach of Harbour Island.

Holding Leonard's feet for the first time in the water of the ocean. He reacts like a pollywog.

On the porch of the "Ciboney". The name of the house supposedly comes from one of the indigenous tribes who lived in the Bahamas before being eradicated by the first conquerors.

Relaxing, alone.

...on Anita's arms (who has 11 children, 32 grand-children and 9 great grand children!).

...and together with Horst in the hammock.

Departure from our own dock.

Departure of Andrea and Bernhard.

Taking off to the main island of Eleuthera.

Again Flying!

Horst went back to Bremen, but Leonard stays for a couple of days with Petra in New York and gives her a hand with the shoots she has!

Leonard’s first Atlantic crossing westbound

Here are a couple of pictures of Leonard’s first westbound Atlantic crossing. Everything went very fine, even the decompression during descent - no problem. He just slept through it.
Only my first night at Tim’s place in NY was a little restless, but – hey – why shouldn’t he also suffer al little from a jet lag?

Waiting in Bremen, still quite early.

Focker 50 to Amsterdam.

Relaxation chairs in Amsterdam-Schiphol, very cool atmosphere in the morning sun.

Petra, Horst and Leo totally in to it.

Dutch literature...

B777 in the galley. Leonard had an own bassinet just in front of Petra’s and Horst’s seats.

Leonard’s first morning in New York City in Tim’s place. In a good mood albeit the night was quite restless.
