A German book about “social capital” that I am currently reading brought me to the idea to compile a list of places to go. Places with a soul.

1) La Tourette: a cloistre in France close to lyon, where you can stay overnight.

2) The Bolando in Bollschweil (swiss german border): a cooperative bar in the villageof Bollschweil and a flagship exemple of thecreation of social capital.

3) The Bürgerspital zum Heiligen Geist, according to reliable sources, a very nice wine restaurant in Würzburg, Bavaria.

4) Another magic place is Peratallada, a medieval village in the hinterland of the Costa Brava in Spain, Catalonia to be exact, close to the french border.
